Family Pictures

Family pictures are never an easy task with 6 children.  It was hard enough with just 3 boys trying to get them to look at the camera.  Thank you to the world famous Joni for coordinating with the sun to make these happen.

Just found your blog and am so blessed by it! It was exciting to see you visit Masters Home of Champions! We adopted 3 children (when it was still though Addy's Hope) and were trying to adopt our daughters cousin Jubah when adoptions closed in 2009. We support him through Lifesong and were so happy to see the pictures on your blog! If you ever see Jubah let him know we think of him always!!

It's good to hear from you Emily. We've connected with so many families who have adopted or attempted to adopt from Liberia both before and after we came here. Hopefully they will allow adoptions to start processing again soon. We actually found out going through the adoption of the twins over the past couple months that there actually is no moratorium on adoption. The president's hold had only a one year validity, but Gov't officials don't want to start processing them without the new laws adopted or some sort of blessing from the president. But anyway, always good to meet people who love Liberia. We're actually planning on going out to the orphanage today to visit. Last time we were there they asked for bread and butter of all things...so we're bringing 12 loaves of fanti bread and butter and some juice for a little party. We'll say hello to Jubah for you and keep in touch!
